Submissions

We are always looking for content to share with our readers. Do you have a DIY tutorial or event (wedding, baby shower, bridal shower, dinner party, birthday party, etc) to share?  If so, please email me at least 10 photos (without watermarks), a brief description, and a list of vendor credits. Please see below for more details.

FOR DIY EVENT SUBMISSIONS FROM DIY’ERS

(Email Subject: Feature My DIY Project or DIY Event)
Please provide the following information with your submission:
  • Your Information: Your Name and Contact Information, Description of the Event, Date and Location of the event.
  • Your Vision: Please share details about your inspiration for this event and your planning process, as well as any DIY tutorials and/or unique concepts that you incorporated in your event decor.
  • Images: 10 – 20 individual images that you feel best represents your DIY event. Images should be of a good quality with no watermarks and sent in a jpeg format or as a zip file. Image size should be 600 pixels wide. Please send pictures that showcase the beautiful details and a variety of decor elements from your DIY event (ie. centerpieces, table decor, invitations, dessert bar, etc).
  • Vendors: If there were any vendors involved in your event, please share their website or information if you would like them to be given credit for their participation. Note: You must credit a photographer in order for your event to be featured.


FOR EVENTS BY VENDORS

(Email Subject: Feature My Client’s Event)

Please provide the following information with your submission:

  • Your Information: Your Company Name, Your Name and Contact Information, Client’s Name, (if applicable), Date and Location of the event.
  • Your Vision: Share your inspiration and vision for this event. Provide details of how you used your client’s idea or incorporated your own idea and developed it into the final product.  Please feel free to share any decor tips that you think our readers can benefit from.
  • Images: 10 – 20 individual images that you feel really represent your DIY event. Images should be of a good quality with no watermarks and sent in a jpeg format or in a zip file. Image size should be 600 pixels wide. Please send pictures that showcase the beautiful details and a variety of decor elements from your event (ie. centerpieces, table decor, invitations, dessert bar, etc).
  • Vendors: Please provide the website or information for all of the vendors that you would like to be given credit for the event.  Note: You must credit a photographer in order for your event to be featured.

FOR DIY PROJECTS

(Email Subject: Feature My DIY Tutorial)

Please include the following information with your submission:

  • Your Information: Your Company Name (if applicable), Your Name & Contact Information, and Name of the project you created.
  • Images: 7-12 photos that best represents and explains your DIY project.  These photos should provide a visual step-by-step storyboard of your project from beginning to end, making it easy for our readers to follow along (along with your instructions). Images should be of a good quality with no watermarks and sent in a jpeg format or zip file. Image size should be 600 pixels wide.
  • Description: Please provide step-by-step written instructions to accompany your photos. These instructions should be easy to understand and detailed enough for DIY beginners to easily follow along and duplicate the project. Please feel free to share your inspiration for this DIY project–how did you come up with the concept or idea? What event did you use it for? If you actually used it in your event decor, please share a picture of its application if you have a photo available.
  • Tips & Vendors: If you have any cost-saving tips or vendors in which you recommend the readers to use to make your project, please share their information with us (website, contact information, email, location/address, etc).
